Graphics card chart
Which graphics card is better? Each bar shows how strong a card is for games. A longer bar means a stronger card. Cards with the same bar play games about the same.

"% of games on high" is how many of the 2,270 games in our list that name a recommended graphics card ask for one no stronger than this, judged at 1080p (Full HD). The processor and memory count too: Test my PC checks all three.
How to read graphics card names
- The first two numbers are the age. An RTX 5060 is newer than an RTX 4060, which is newer than an RTX 3060.
- The last two numbers are the level. 50 and 60 are everyday cards, 70 is strong, 80 and 90 are top end.
- A newer card can beat an older, higher one. On this chart an RTX 3060 sits above a GTX 1080, even though 1080 sounds bigger.
- Ti, Super and XT are a little faster than the same card without those letters.
- GTX is NVIDIA's older range, RTX its newer one. RX is AMD. Arc is Intel.
- Built-in graphics are part of the processor. They are fine for Minecraft, Roblox and older games, but a separate card is much stronger.
This is our own scale, the same one we use to match every game's requirements on this site. Treat it as a rough guide: cards one step apart play games about the same, and results vary from game to game. Not sure? Ask us and we will tell you straight.
